Biggest CF card of all time!
Lexar’s newly announced 256GB CF card might just have more storage than your old PC.

For serious? Hopefully it drops the price point of the lower end cards. Cause… 1000$ for a CF card. That’s just… OK I WANT ONE!

On Christmas Eve, I spent roughly 8 hours watching this video, and the other 10 videos in it’s chapter, all while trying to reorganize the 50,000 photos I have spread across 3 hard drives in no particular order other then date. These videos helped me figure out how to solve that problem quite effectively. I recommend them, and I am leaving them here so I don’t forget where to find them. At some point, I’m going to have to make time to watch the other videos on this site.

I am starting to realize that etiquette is at least one of the top 3 challenges I face in becoming a better photographer. In general, I can be a pretty shy person, at least with complete strangers. At the same time, I probably love candid photography the most. This, in my experience, has made for some very awkward situations, and has definitely left me feeling shitty after going out to take pictures. Regardless of how good they came out, it was no fun thinking that I just made a bunch of people uncomfortable in the process. This has happened a couple of times, and I would usually tell myself “Google search ‘photography etiquette’ when you get home,” but I kept forgetting. Well, thanks to Siri, I remembered this time and found a great article about cosplay photography! I personally don’t shoot a lot of cosplay photography, but I like this article because most of the information it provides is actually helpful for all situations.
The thing this article doesn’t have, that I need to Google search again when I have time, is candid etiquette in places like clubs, concerts, and noisy areas where communication is difficult.
